Slow-Cooker BBQ Chicken Thighs (2-Ingredient Recipe)

BBQ boneless chicken thighs prepared in the slow cooker make a simple, delicious family meal.

This is one of the simplest chicken recipes you'll ever prepare, even in the CrockPot or slow cooker, and your family will love it.

If you're looking for a budget meal, the price-per-serving can hardly be beat. Boneless, skinless chicken thighs are less expensive than their white meat counterpart, low in fat when compared to beef or pork, and they cook up moist and delicious, too.

This is a great comfort food recipe for winter and also a good summer recipe since you don't need the oven. We enjoy it all year long.

Here's the recipe:

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Thighs

1 package boneless, skinless chicken thighs (6 or 8 thighs in the package)
1/2 to 1 cup of your favorite prepared barbecue sauce

Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the BBQ sauce on top. Cover and cook on low for about 5 hours or on high for about 3 hours. Stir everything together and the chicken should easily fall apart. Add more BBQ sauce to taste. 

Serve over noodles, mashed potatoes, or rice with a green vegetable on the side. 

Makes 4-6 servings. This recipe can be easily doubled for a larger family.
