How to Skin Chicken

If you're wondering how to skin chicken the easy way, here's the answer in two words: paper towel. I learned from a friend years ago that it's easy to pull skin off a piece of raw chicken if, instead of using bare fingers, you grasp the skin with a paper towel and pull. Wow, that makes it so much easier!

This is one of those priceless tips that I might not have discovered on my own. I'm still glad my friend shared it with me, so now I'm sharing it with you.

  1. I adore quick tips like this one! One of my favorites: lay the flat of a butcher knife on a garlic clove and smash it with your fist. The garlic skin will lift away from the clove without need for peeling, and your clove is more than half chopped already!
