Tim's Zesty Sausage and Beans

I'm really not sure where this recipe originated, but I provided it for my mom to include in a family cookbook that she put together several years ago. She wanted everyone in the family represented, so she put my #2 son's name on it. This will be supper tonight.

Tim's Zesty Sausage and Beans

1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
1 16-ounce jar thick and chunky salsa
1 15 1/2-ounce can dark red kidney beans, drained

Combine all in a large skillet. Bring to boil and simmer 10 minutes (or until hot). Serve over rice. Top with sour cream.

Now, it just doesn't get any better or any easier than that, a three-ingredient comfort food recipe!
